RVCA Thrift Store Shirt Illustrations

RVCA Thrift Store Shirts Graphics

I designed these series of graphics for RVCA focusing on out of business shirts you’d likely find at a thrift store.  The designs are funny in content but also themed as actual brands that could’ve existed at one point.  RVCA has released a couple of these so far and more on the way!  The designs include World Class Painters “Painting the Town Red”, Fast Eddies Tire Repair, Power Supply, Bring The Heat Mt Diablo Heating Services, Fishing Tours, Shark Tours, Electric Co and Gary’s Lessons.

All the designs are printed on a slim fit vintage short sleeve pocket tee. The shirts all have contrast red stitching at the shoulders and a screened inside neck label.

RVCA Hawaii Illustrations

RVCA Hawaii

I designed some RVCA Hawaii graphics for their aloha seasonal line for next season.  RVCA has a big presence in Hawaii as its one of their biggest markets. Every year in early December they host RVCA Aloha. It’s a time in the year where they have the extended RVCA family visit the north shore.  In essence these three designs represent that time.  The First design is titled “RVCA Hawaiian weekend crib”.  The second is the titled “Vacation Getaway”.  And lastly the third was a pattern I designed that will be featured on button down shirts, boards shorts and hats.

Mission H2O Long Beach

I recently partnered up with Long Beach Water and ETA Agency to work on a project about Water Conservation. I was commissioned to create a painting about saving saving water. This campaign seeks creatives in Long Beach and asks them to tell their story about the importance of water through their art. I’m following two music acts in the Mission h2O campaign, Avi Buffalo and Bearcoon. They were both really cool smart campaigns that were very successful. The ads are all over Long Beach, on buses and bus benches. The video (the making of the piece of art, music etc and the artists’ story) will be seen before the trailers in theaters across Long Beach throughout December. It was a really cool experience and an amazing opportunity.

Here’s the link to the site– www.missionh2olb.com

And here’s the piece of art that was created for the campaign, I’ll post the video once it’s up, should be any day now.
